Lyrically, dealing with the idea that you have to mask depression to others who can't understand the reality of being depressed and feeling powerless as you can't just 'get better'.

The lyrics use a lot of irony and play into a lot of OTT traditional house vocal chants. Also sampled my kids voices and used them as a backing vocal chop throughout the song.
